what is this site?
'Daily Operation' is a photoblog. In theory, it is updated once a day with a new image from somewhere around the world. The photos aren't necassarily taken on the day that they're posted, though they sometimes can be. They cover a range of locations / themes / categories / events and are taken on a range of different cameras. In fact, the only thing that links them all is that they were taken by me.
who am i?
I am Matt Northam - a designer based in Bournemouth, England - and I like taking photos of things. I'm far from what you would call a photographer but I've been lucky enough to have travelled to some amazing places with a camera in my hand, and done my best to capture the memory.
Occasionally, other people like the photos too, which is nice. If you like any of them, feel free to post a comment letting me know; most of the photos are also available to buy as prints if you really like them ;)
