…until you get over the peak of the island and begin to descend into Kailua-Kona and you get presented with a stunning view. This photo was taken as I was driving, hence it’s not great. But no photo would do it justice; you really had to be there. Watching the sun set into the sea from the top of the largest volcano in the world is truly awesome.
