To end this week of Sicilian photos, I thought I’d include this which is pretty much the most stereotypical view of Sicily people have. It’s what I was thinking about during the entire trip anyway. We even went to the town of Corleone (but didn’t stay long). I thought that Sicilians might not like the fact that their island is so inextricably linked to the image of the Mafia but based on the amount of Mafia-based tourist tat for sale, I’d say they’re not particular fussed.
