This was the first time I’d been to San Francisco, and the first time I saw the Golden Gate bridge, back in 2007. All my ideas of seeing that massive bulk of red metal were quickly shattered however, when it became apparent that the bridge is a veritable fog magnet. I took this during an incredibly windy tour of the bay on a tiny little boat. It was freezing.
